Project Description:
After many years of being a stable and constant stop for travelers on southbound Interstate 75, this Florida rest area is getting the revitalization it deserves. The Sumter County Rest Area closed its doors in May 2020 for a full reconstruction, including a new dry hydrant storage system provided by Tanks Direct.
Tanks Direct supplied a 30,000-gallon Xerxes by Shawcor dry hydrant tank weighing a total of 13,200 pounds and roughly 55 feet long. While this project had a capable crew, Tanks Direct supported the delivery and installation of this tank on site. Our team guided the crew through the nuances of the installation process and ensured the tank was installed correctly.
