Project Description:
Tanks Direct provided and installed a new 3,000-gallon fireguard storage tank on a raised island. This tank is split to provide 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel as well as 2,000-gallons of gasoline. Installation of a new fueling island with new Gasboy dispensers and a Fielmaster fuel management system was also provided by Tanks Direct. The existing 20′ x 209′ canopy was relocated from its existing location to the new fueling island. The existing underground fuel tanks were removed and disposed of per Maryland Department of the Environment regulations. The existing Veeder-Root tank monitor was upgraded to operate with the new equipment and moved to a new location within the building. The electrical system for the new fueling site was upgraded with a dedicated subpanel with a transfer switch to allow a generator to power the fueling site during a power outage. New asphalt was installed as well as two (2) new drive pads at the fueling island.
