Tanks Direct had the opportunity to remove and replace a fuel oil system for a facility in Grantsville, Maryland. Our team started by removing the existing 300-gallon aboveground tank and piping. With the area cleaned up, we installed a brand new 500-gallon Highland Fireguard aboveground tank with fuel oil supply, return piping, and a Veeder Root TLS-450 tank monitoring system.

Some things don’t last forever, including storage tanks. This facility had a failing 300-gallon aboveground storage tank that was not performing as needed. 

By hiring Tanks Direct, the customer sat back and let the work begin. We started by removing and polishing the existing diesel fuel from the tank. After cleaning and disposing of the 300-gallon tank, it was time to bring in the new storage tank. Enter the new Highland Fireguard 500-gallon aboveground storage tank. Once the new tank was offloaded and set, our team completed a rigorous checklist of tests to ensure the capability. After the installation, our team trained the customer to use and care for their new storage tank.
