Just steps away from the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., the NBC Studios building was working on expanding and updating the safety standards. The location of the work necessary caused a unique challenge because of the limited space available.

Tanks Direct delivered and installed one 2,000-gallon custom fabricated Highland Fireguard tank and accessories. This tank was specifically designed to fit within the parking garage structure of the building and feeds to a generator system for backup power. A rectangular tank was the best option to guarantee the tank would fit perfectly in the allotted space and needed to be rigged through two parking levels to the final destination. This tank and project under will go unnoticed by many but will be on standby to protect the building for many years to come.
