Laurel, Md, May 2021 – Octagon Services, Inc., DBA Tanks Direct has promoted Kurt Utz to Construction Manager of Tanks Direct. Since 1994, when Kurt joined Tanks Direct, he has provided a vital role within our project management team. During his over 30 years of experience, Utz has gained experience in various aspects of the construction industry including sales, field operations, and project management. In his most recent role as Senior Project Manager, Utz has managed a wide range of projects including mission-critical power facilities, rainwater harvesting installations, fire protection installations, and co-generation plants.

In his new position, Kurt will be responsible for Tanks Direct Project Management and Field operations. “Kurt’s broad experience and deep knowledge base make him an excellent choice for the position,” said Jeff Shultz, General Manager.
