While other tank providers may contract this work out, we believe that having an in-house electrical controls staff that wires and starts up what we sell allows us to better serve you. In addition, we hold pre-construction meetings to determine if there is a gap in scope. Misunderstandings between various trades regarding scope responsibility for interlock and alarm controls can result in necessary components not being installed. For example, a lack of communication between the electrical contractor and controls contractor may result in neither party installing the interlock control wiring and conduit for a fuel oil system. We can assist with the coordination of trades to ensure that every aspect of the storage tank’s electrical and controls installation is accounted for.
